Speed Networking

On September 15th, we were thrilled to have over 100 registrants from over 15 industries at the Punjabi Women’s Network’s (PWN) inaugural Speed Networking Event in Brampton! 🌟 The energy in the room was palpable as experiences were shared, new connections were formed, and ideas blossomed. The success of this event was fuelled by the passion and dedication of our participants, all committed to fostering a thriving community of Punjabi women professionals.

We hope that each attendee walked away with not only new friends and mentors but also valuable insights and inspiration to elevate their professional journeys. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a resounding success. Here’s to building a stronger, more connected future for Punjabi women everywhere.

Power of Presence Workshop

Last February, the Punjabi Women’s Network hosted its first skill-building workshop, The Power of Presence. Led by PWN Co-Founder Jaspreet Kaur Grewal, the event welcomed over 50 students from universities across Ontario.

The session focused on foundational skills that shape how we show up in the world; confidence, public speaking, and the ability to take up space with purpose. Through thoughtful conversation and interactive discussion, attendees explored the power of presentation, the importance of language, and the lasting impact of self-belief. What made the evening truly special was the energy in the room. As ideas flowed, so did a collective sense of confidence and connection: a reminder of how transformative shared learning can be.

Trailblazers: Punjabi Women in Leadership Panel

In celebration of International Women’s Day, PWN hosted Trailblazers: Punjabi Women in Leadership - a powerful panel featuring inspiring voices from law, medicine, academia, and finance. Our panelists shared candid reflections on their journeys, the barriers they've broken, and the lessons they’ve learned along the way.

The evening brought together a vibrant community committed to uplifting and empowering Punjabi women in leadership. Thank you to our incredible speakers and attendees for making this such a memorable and motivating event.

Toronto Waterfront Marathon 5KM Team

Last October PWN members made a community team and ran the 5km at the Toronto Waterfront Marathon. A PWN, our mission extends beyond advocacy and leadership, we also believe in empowering Punjabi women through wellness, movement, and meaningful community connections. This run was a celebration of resilience, unity, and the strength we build when we show up for ourselves and one another.
